After School Activities

IST Elementary School has a strong tradition of providing a broad and stimulating after-school program for our students. Activities fall into one of three categories: Creative, Active, and Community Service. All children from Grade 1 to Grade 5 are invited to take part and we usually offer around 50 different activities per week. Most activities run from 1.55pm to 2.40pm. Students in Grade 1 and 2 can take two activities per week and students in Grade 3 to 5 can take three. Registration takes place online and parents will receive an email with detailed information in the near future. Please visit the ASA blogsite for more information: http://istesactivities.wordpress.com/

New Students and Parents

After School Activities can be a great way for new students to find their niche, develop new friendships and to aid with the transition into life at IST. For those parents with limited internet access, IST computer labs will be available for parents until 7.20amduring the week of online sign up. For more specific information about activities, parents are encouraged to visit the “Information for Parents” section on the ASA blogsite or drop by the PE office for a chat.
