John Kilaka, author and illustrator who visited us earlier this year, will be visiting the library on Thursday at 1:00 selling 8 of his Amazing Tree books for 30,000TSH each. He will also sign them! Please send money with your child if you are interested in purchasing and your library bag if you want him to sign it as well!

IST Wanyama Club has invited a Sea Sense Education Officer to talk about their sea turtle protection program in Tanzania.
All parents and students are invited to hear him speak in the library at 1:30pm on Thursday November 5.
Sea Sense is a local Tanzanian NGO that helps coastal communities protect endangered marine life in Tanzania.

A quick reminder from the library…
It has been a busy last few weeks. During Dr. MacDonald’s visit some students did not get a full period to work with Ms. Toms and check out books for the coming break. Parents please feel free to come in after school with your child to borrow books from the library.
